Friends really want me to play this with them, and just can't get it to work, even after going through all the other discussions related. Cleared every bit of cache on my computer and have re installed and verified files an obscene amount of times. I've tried starting in different launch options as well. I have all my drivers updated, all my firewall and security off, no third party anti-virus. It'll sit there forever, I have 70 minutes just from that screen alone of trying. (These will pile up if I don't end them) However if I make it so I run the game as admin and launch either through steam or the folder itself it launches fine and gets stuck at the loading screen after the logo animations intro. Afterward there will be a suspend crash process of URE in task manager. If I start the game normally through steam, it'll launch the splash screen and then eventually crash. Its speed makes for a hefty amount of damage dealt. So I've been running through a lot of troubleshooting with this game and this is what I've come down to. Raider Axe IIIThe Raider Axe III is making this list due to two main factors: first, it’s fairly easy to craft, and two, it has a high damage per second value. This is not to say that you shouldn’t be trying out all weapon types (I certainly recommend that) and seeing which works best for you.ġ. In this guide, we’ll recap some commonly-mentioned weapons in the game and their uses. However, there are some good practices - for example, fighting Hálogi would absolutely benefit from having an ice weapon, as opposite elements do the most damage against each other. Weapon preference completely depends on what your objective during the run is - do you want to unlock the Berserker class? Defeat a fire Jötunn? Face off against Fenrir? All of these goals in the game could benefit from trying out different weapons and seeing what works best for you. In Tribes of Midgard, there are currently 4 weapon types: the Sword, Hammer, Bow, and Axe (of course, not forgetting that you can use enemy clubs as well)!
